Key Responsibilities:

• Operate telehandler/forklift to transport materials around site
• Load and unload deliveries with precision and care
• Support trades and site managers with logistical needs
• Ensure compliance with on-site safety and traffic regulations
• Carry out daily safety checks on machinery and report faults
• Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean and organised loading/unloading area
• Assist with other general site duties when required

Essential Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Licence
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on busy sites
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices
• High attention to detail and excellent coordination
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• CSCS Card (preferred for some sites)
• Additional plant machinery certifications (e.g., Forklift, Dumper, or Hoist)
• Manual handling and health & safety awareness certifications
• First Aid at Work certification
• Experience working on large-scale construction, housing, or infrastructure sites
• Strong communication and teamworking abilities
• Punctual, reliable, and proactive attitude
