Fire Door Installer
Install and remediate certified fire doors across residential and commercial sites under the DefendX brand, working to BS 8214 throughout.
The role
Under the DefendX brand, you will install, adjust and inspect certified fire door sets across residential, education and commercial premises. All work is carried out to BS 8214 and third-party assessed standards, with photographic evidence packs provided to clients.
What you will do
- Install FD30 to FD60 fire door sets and doorsets
- Remediate existing fire doors to bring into compliance
- Inspect door hardware, intumescent strips, closers and seals
- Produce photographic evidence packs and inspection reports
- Work to DefendX quality management system on all site visits
What you need
- FDIS or equivalent third-party fire door certification
- Experience installing certified fire door sets
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK

CSCS Site Operative
Support main contractors across active construction sites. CSCS card required. Tasks include traffic management, logistics and site clearance.
