The AOG difference

Planned early. Managed intelligently. One team, not four suppliers.

Main contractors do not lose time to a labour agency, a traffic management firm, a security contractor and a waste carrier all reporting differently. AOG runs the whole logistics package — labour, traffic, welfare, gatehouse, site security, CCTV and waste — as one team operating as an extension of your site management, on one weekly account review.

This page pulls together services from three AOG divisions (construction support, security and FM & cleaning) into a single commercial line, because that is how a main contractor actually buys logistics: as one outcome, not six line items from six suppliers.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What construction support services do you provide on site?

We cover the labour and site services that keep a project moving: site security, traffic marshalling, gate and logistics management, welfare, site cleaning and post construction sparkle cleans. It is one supplier for the support functions, which frees your site team to focus on the build.

Are your site operatives CSCS carded and trained for construction environments?

Yes. Operatives working on your site hold the relevant CSCS card for their role and are briefed to your site rules and RAMS before they start. Security officers on construction sites hold the appropriate SIA licence and understand the specific risks of a live site.

How quickly can you supply labour or security to a live project?

For most requirements we can mobilise within 24 to 72 hours, and we hold cover for short notice and urgent needs through the operations desk. For programmes with known peaks we agree resourcing in advance so the labour is there on the day you need it.

Can you scale the team up and down as the programme changes?

Yes, and construction programmes always move. We flex numbers against your build sequence rather than holding you to a fixed headcount, so you are not paying for people you do not need or scrambling for cover when the programme accelerates.

Do you provide post construction and sparkle cleaning at handover?

We do. We deliver builders cleans and final sparkle cleans to get a unit or building to handover standard, timed to your completion dates. Because we also run the FM and cleaning division, the same team can carry on into occupancy if you want continuity after handover.

What is included in the AOG construction logistics package?

The construction logistics package bundles CSCS labour supply, traffic marshals, welfare and site logistics, and gatehouse and access control from construction support, together with construction site security from our security division and waste management from FM and cleaning. It runs as one contract, with one project manager and one weekly report, rather than as separate lines from separate suppliers.

Can we take construction logistics as one package, or only individual services?

Either. Most main contractors take the full package because it removes the coordination overhead of managing several suppliers, but every service inside it, labour, traffic marshals, welfare, gatehouse, security and waste, can also be taken on its own under the relevant division.
