Where we operate

Housing coverage.

Regional delivery, backed by national mobilisation. Our strongest directly managed coverage is across the Midlands, North West and Yorkshire. In London, the South and Wales we operate a deliberately controlled footprint, supported by remote technology and project-specific mobilisation. For longer-term contracts, frameworks and multi-site programmes, AOG recruits and deploys locally, giving clients a scalable UK-wide service without overstating a permanent local headcount.

Indicative mobilisation capacity. Final resourcing is agreed against scope, geography and contract duration. Technology-led security can be deployed nationally.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with housing associations and local-authority landlords?

Yes. AOG supports housing associations, registered providers, local-authority portfolios, managing agents and other residential asset owners. Services can cover occupied communal areas, estates, vacant homes and project-based turnaround work, with reporting agreed around the client's own KPIs.

How do you manage void properties between tenancies?

We can secure the property, establish an inspection regime, clear and clean it, support minor remedial or decorating works and prepare it for handback or relet. The exact scope is agreed by property type, condition and turnaround target so the client has one accountable workflow rather than several disconnected suppliers.

How do you support fire safety in communal residential buildings?

DefendX can support defined fire-protection scopes including fire doors, passive fire stopping and compartmentation, with inspection and remedial records provided for the client file. Any specialist statutory activity is undertaken only where the appointed provider is competent and appropriately authorised for that work.

How do you handle resident safety and estate security?

We combine visible presence with proportionate technology: patrols, keyholding, CCTV, access control and incident reporting can be deployed alongside cleaning and estate services. The aim is to make communal spaces safer and better managed while giving the landlord a clear record of incidents and actions.

Can you secure a void property on the same day?

In core operating areas, urgent attendance may be possible, but the committed response time should be agreed in the contract. For portfolio clients we can pre-agree priority categories, access arrangements and standard security measures so urgent voids move faster.

Can you manage both the physical works and the evidence trail?

Yes. Each contracted activity can be recorded against the property or scheme, including attendance, photographs, inspection notes, remedials and completion status. This gives the client a clearer audit trail across the full void or estate-management process.

Do you provide temporary CCTV for empty blocks or development sites?

Yes. Temporary CCTV and monitored detection are particularly useful for empty buildings, partially occupied blocks, development sites and locations where permanent manned guarding would be disproportionate.

Can AOG support geographically dispersed housing stock?

Yes. We have strongest directly managed capacity through the Midlands and into the North, with controlled coverage in London, the South and Wales. Longer-term portfolio contracts can be supported through planned local recruitment and regional mobilisation.

Can AOG support long-term residential developments as well as housing portfolios?

Yes. AOG supports both managed housing portfolios and live residential developments. Long-term development support can include labour, traffic and access management, CCTV, plant operatives, cleaning and other agreed site services, with the resource model adapting as the programme moves through different phases.

Can you bundle voids, cleaning, security and fire works?

Yes. The client can appoint one or several service lines. Where several are combined, AOG can provide one management and reporting structure while retaining clear responsibility for each specialist scope.
