Responsibility,
scored and reported.
UK tenders score social value and carbon. We treat ESG as a measured deliverable, with net zero, social value and governance commitments a buyer can hold us to.
ESG is a scored tender question.
Public-sector and main-contractor tenders now formally score social value, often a 10% weighting, and require a Carbon Reduction Plan. For AOG's buyers, ESG is not a brand exercise. It is a scored tender question we answer with evidence.
So we measure it the way we measure compliance. Targets, owners and a reporting rhythm. Every figure on this page is drawn from our 2024 reporting and is refreshed annually.
Central government contracts are scored against the Social Value Model's five missions under PPN 002, mandatory since 1 October 2025. Councils, housing associations and other sub-central buyers, most of our client base, can still score us against the National TOMs framework, and our Carbon Reduction Plan follows PPN 006. Our strategy reports against all three.
Environment, social value, governance.
Each pillar has commitments we report against, mapped to the standards buyers already use to score us.
Toward net zero
A measured route to net zero across our fleet and operations. EV and hybrid transition, route optimisation, solar-powered CCTV and perimeter systems, and waste diversion tracked per contract.
TOMs and local jobs
Real Living Wage, local hiring, accredited SIA training, apprenticeships and supply-chain spend, reported against the National TOMs framework and the Social Value Model's five missions under PPN 002.
Audited and accountable
ISO 14001 environmental management, board-level ESG oversight, an annual modern slavery statement, and the same single-owner accountability we apply to compliance.
Commitments a buyer can hold us to.
These are the commitments we carry into tender responses and report against quarterly.
Transition the fleet to EV and hybrid, optimise mobile patrol and cleaning routes to cut mileage, and divert operational waste from landfill across every contract.
Pay the Real Living Wage as standard, hire locally to each contract, and create apprenticeship and training routes across all five divisions.
Maintain ISO 14001, publish an annual modern slavery statement, and report social value against the National TOMs framework.
