Symmetry Park: security across two warehouses
At a Symmetry Park logistics development of two warehouses, AOG provided far more than a gateman. The crew combined gate and access control with traffic marshals and dedicated night security, alongside construction-support labour of three labourers and two dumper operatives, keeping the site secure and the build resourced from one operator.

The crew combined gate and access control with traffic marshals and dedicated night security, alongside construction-support labour of three labourers and two dumper operatives, keeping the site secure and the build resourced from one operator.
The challenge
Symmetry Park is a large-scale industrial and logistics development, and during the construction and fit-out of two warehouses it needed more than a security presence. It needed an operation that could keep the site secure and control its traffic while also putting labour on the ground for the build. Ascent Onsite Group covered both, managing the gate and access control, marshalling site traffic, watching the site overnight, and supplying construction-support operatives to the works.
A live logistics site across two warehouses sees constant traffic. Contractors arrive in numbers, deliveries come and go throughout the day, plant moves around the site, and every one of those movements has to be controlled without holding up the programme. The site needed a manned presence at the critical points, traffic managed safely around working plant, reliable overnight cover, and labour to keep the build moving, all delivered to strict health and safety standards and coordinated closely with the site management team.
Our approach
We resourced the site as a single multi-division crew rather than a standalone guard. Experienced gatemen and security operatives controlled the critical access points and logged the movement of personnel, contractors and deliveries. Traffic marshals managed vehicles and plant around the two warehouses so movements stayed safe and orderly, and dedicated night security took over when the works stood down, giving genuine round-the-clock cover at the points that mattered. Alongside the security team we supplied construction-support labour to the build itself: three labourers and two dumper operatives working on the ground, so the same trusted supplier resourced both the perimeter and the works.
- Gatemen and security operatives controlling access across two warehouses.
- Traffic marshals managing vehicles and plant safely around the site.
- Dedicated night security covering the site when the works stood down.
- Construction-support labour of three labourers and two dumper operatives on the build.
- One operator coordinating security and site labour under a single point of contact.
The result
The development stayed secure and fully operational while the flow of people, contractors and deliveries was kept streamlined rather than slowed. Access was controlled, traffic was marshalled safely around the two warehouses, and the night cover meant the site was never left exposed, while the labour on the ground kept the build moving. Symmetry Park dealt with one team running the gate, the traffic and the site labour as a single operation, drawing security and construction-support disciplines from the same operator rather than stitching together separate suppliers.
