Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safety and security of the site during non-operational hours.
• Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, investigating any unusual activity.
• Conducting routine and scheduled patrols to deter theft, trespassing, or vandalism.
• Logging all incidents and producing accurate shift reports.
• Performing access control duties for night deliveries or late-working staff.
• Responding to emergencies (fire alarms, intrusions, etc.) according to site protocols.
• Providing a visible presence to deter criminal or unauthorised activity.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the security post or gatehouse.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Mandatory)
• Right to work in the UK (Mandatory)
• 5-year verifiable work/unemployment/education history (BS7858 compliant)
• Proven experience in a similar role (preferably construction or commercial sites)
• Strong observation and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain alert and proactive during night hours
• High levels of integrity, reliability, and punctuality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and stay focused during extended night shifts

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• CSCS card (advantageous for construction environments)
• Conflict resolution or lone worker training
• Familiarity with site alarm systems and CCTV
• Comfortable using digital systems for incident reporting and shift logging
