Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling Sites: Conduct regular patrols of client properties, checking for security breaches, vandalism, and other safety risks.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or security incidents. Investigate and take necessary actions according to site protocols.
• Access Control: Monitor access points, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry to the site.
• Report Writing: Maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and any irregularities during shifts. Complete detailed reports to submit to management and clients.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
• Liaison with Authorities: Work closely with local law enforcement or emergency services if required during incidents.
• Vehicle Security: Perform checks on security vehicles, ensuring they are properly equipped and maintained for patrolling duties.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with site personnel, clients, or visitors, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Essential Requirements:

• SIA License: Must hold a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License.
• Right to Work in the UK: Must have legal permission to work in the UK.
• Driving License: Full, clean UK driving license is essential for mobile patrol duties.
• Previous Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a security role, preferably in mobile or site security.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting incidents and interacting with clients and law enforcement.
• Customer-Focused: Able to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
• Attention to Detail: Able to identify and assess risks or suspicious activity accurately during patrols.
• Punctual & Reliable: Dependable with the ability to adhere to scheduled shifts and respond quickly to any changes in site requirements.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

• First Aid Training: First aid certification is highly desirable but not essential.
• Fire Marshal Training: Previous training as a fire marshal would be advantageous.
• Experience in Mobile Security: Experience conducting mobile security patrols or in a similar role is a plus.
• Conflict Management: Ability to handle difficult situations and de-escalate conflict effectively.
• Technology Proficient: Comfortable using mobile security technology, such as patrol tracking software or reporting tools.
