Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement logistics strategies for active construction sites
• Manage site deliveries, traffic movement, waste streams, and storage areas
• Oversee and manage logistics teams, including traffic marshals and labourers
• Coordinate material movements to minimise delays and ensure productivity
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, stock, and inventory
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with H&S and site-specific protocols
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on logistical needs
• Lead toolbox talks and ensure team training and compliance
• Use digital tools to track and streamline on-site logistics

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager in the construction or infrastructure sector
• Excellent knowledge of logistics planning, traffic management, and site operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)
• Right to work in the UK
• Exceptional communication and organisational abilities
• Health & Safety awareness and understanding of CDM regulations

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• CPCS or NPORS qualifications in plant movement/logistics
• First Aid at Work certification
• Experience using logistics software or digital planning tools
• Knowledge of environmental and waste management regulations
• Familiarity with large, high-profile construction sites or infrastructure projects
