Key Responsibilities:

Void Property Inspections:

• Conduct internal and external inspections of vacant properties in line with client requirements and insurance standards
• Identify signs of trespass, damage, environmental hazards, or deterioration
• Check for secure fencing, working locks, water/gas/electric status, and general site condition
• Photograph and document all findings clearly in inspection reports
• Report and escalate any urgent issues such as fly-tipping, squatting, or vandalism

Mobile Security Patrols:

• Carry out scheduled and randomised mobile patrols of multiple locations
• Perform perimeter checks, lock-ups, gate securing, and alarm status verification
• Respond swiftly to intruder or fire alarm activations, including out-of-hours callouts
• Complete vehicle checklists and incident logs accurately and promptly
• Maintain a strong visual deterrent and professional presence on site

Essential Requirements:

• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding)
• Full UK Driving Licence (manual transmission)
• Right to Work in the UK
• 5-Year Checkable History in line with BS7858 security screening
• Strong written communication for completing reports and logs
• Excellent timekeeping, attention to detail, and self-discipline
• Comfortable using mobile devices and reporting apps

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in void property inspections, facilities security, or mobile patrol roles
• Knowledge of Insurance Compliance Requirements for vacant properties
• SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence
• First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, or Emergency Response Training
• Familiarity with key holding and response protocols
• Competence with digital patrol management systems (e.g., Trackforce, MyTAG, or similar)
