Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate site operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Manage a team of workers and subcontractors, providing leadership and direction to ensure projects meet deadlines
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a hazard-free site
• Conduct regular site inspections, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions
• Liaise with the project manager, providing regular updates on progress and any site issues
• Oversee the daily operation of the site, ensuring materials are available and resources are allocated effectively
• Perform site inductions for new workers, explaining safety procedures and site-specific rules
• Document daily site activities, including labour and materials usage, accidents, and work delays
• Resolve any issues that arise on-site, acting quickly to avoid project delays or safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, particularly as part of our green sustainability goals

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Valid CSCS card (Gold preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of construction site safety, regulations, and procedures
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full right to work in the UK
• Experience working on projects of varying scale and complexity
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to changes on-site

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• First Aid at Work certificate
• Fire Marshal or Traffic Marshal qualifications
• Experience with green building practices and sustainability efforts
• Experience using site management software or project tracking tools
• Knowledge of waste management protocols and eco-friendly disposal methods
• Ability to manage high-profile, high-traffic construction sites
• Strong IT skills to assist in reporting and site management tasks
• Environmental awareness and a passion for reducing project impact on the environment
