Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitising common areas such as offices, kitchens, welfare facilities, and restrooms
• Sweeping, mopping, and dusting areas within construction sites and buildings
• Managing waste disposal and recycling processes on-site
• Keeping floors, windows, and walls clean and free of dust, dirt, and debris
• Ensuring that all cleaning supplies are well-stocked and well-maintained
• Reporting any health or safety concerns or maintenance needs to the supervisor
• Adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines and protocols
• Ensuring that all welfare areas (such as toilets, kitchens, and break rooms) are regularly cleaned and stocked with essential supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.)
• Supporting the health and safety of the site by ensuring cleanliness is maintained throughout working hours

Essential Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a construction or industrial environment
• Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning materials and equipment
• Full right to work in the UK

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training or experience
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning products and techniques
• First Aid at Work certification
• Awareness of sustainability practices in the cleaning industry
• Previous experience working in a construction or site environment
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
