Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring access and egress to site entrances, ensuring only authorised personnel are allowed entry.
• Conducting regular patrols of the site to ensure safety and deter any potential threats or unauthorised access.
• Providing visible security presence and acting as a deterrent to criminal activity.
• Reporting and escalating any suspicious behaviour, safety concerns, or site breaches.
• Completing detailed daily logs, incident reports, and visitor records accurately.
• Conducting bag checks and vehicle searches when required.
• Liaising with contractors, site staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Supporting emergency response procedures, including fire evacuation drills and first aid response if trained.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the security office or reception point.

Essential Requirements

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Required)
• Right to work in the UK (Mandatory)
• 5-year checkable work/unemployment/education history in line with BS7858
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably on a construction or commercial site
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout a 12-hour day shift
• High levels of personal presentation and professionalism
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, dependable, and punctual

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable but not essential)
• CSCS card (preferred for construction sites)
• Previous experience in a high-footfall or high-risk environment
• Conflict management or customer service training
• Basic IT skills for report writing and access control systems
