Key Responsibilities:

• Live Surveillance: Monitor multiple CCTV feeds in real-time to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and health & safety incidents.
• Incident Identification & Reporting: Recognise suspicious behaviour and respond quickly with detailed reporting and escalation to relevant teams or emergency services.
• Access Monitoring: Supervise entry/exit points digitally, verifying identity and logging activities during operational and non-operational hours.
• Footage Review: Assist in reviewing recorded footage for investigations, audits, or compliance reviews.
• Alarm & Alert Response: React promptly to triggered alarms or system alerts. Follow established protocols to verify, document, and escalate events.
• Compliance Checks: Ensure camera functionality, coverage, and recording systems are operating effectively. Report faults or blind spots.
• Coordination with Security Teams: Work in tandem with on-site guards or mobile patrol units to guide response and share real-time information.
• Control Room Duties: Maintain logs, incident reports, and communication records with accuracy and professionalism.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence (mandatory)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Screenable 5-year work/education/unemployment history (BS7858 standard)
• Proven experience in CCTV monitoring or control room operations
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Competency with surveillance software and control systems
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain focused and alert during long shifts
• A calm and decisive approach to high-pressure incidents

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence (for dual-role capability)
• First Aid at Work or Fire Marshal certification
• Familiarity with site management systems (e.g., TrackTik, Sentinel, etc.)
• Experience working in construction, logistics, or critical infrastructure sites
• Working knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws related to CCTV usage
• Strong IT literacy and system troubleshooting ability
