Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine and reactive patrols with your canine partner
• Protecting assets, personnel, and property from theft, trespassing, or unauthorised access
• Responding to alarms, suspicious activity, or security breaches
• Carrying out checks of perimeter fencing, gates, and access points
• Maintaining the welfare and condition of your canine at all times
• Reporting incidents clearly and promptly to control or supervisors
• Working closely with other site teams and emergency services where necessary
• Completing logs, reports, and records as required

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
• Valid NASDU Level 2 (or equivalent) Canine Handling Qualification
• Right to work in the UK
• Proven experience as a dog handler in a similar role
• Fully licensed and insured working dog with current vaccinations
• Clean driving licence and access to transport (preferable for mobile patrols)
• Good physical fitness and communication skills
• Have a vehicle

Desirable Attributes

• Experience working on construction or high-risk sites
• First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of security systems and CCTV
• Flexible availability for nights and weekends
