Bridgeside Luna: settling students into a new build, Nottingham

The challenge

A new student accommodation building has one chance to make a first impression: hundreds of students arriving within days of each other, every room and common area expected to be spotless, and fire safety procedures that have to work from day one even while the building is still settling in. Bridgeside Luna needed a team that could clean a full new-build scheme floor by floor, cover fire marshalling through the move-in rush, and help make the arrival itself feel welcoming rather than administrative.

Our approach

AOG cleaned every floor of the building, rooms and common areas alike, plus the external areas, and ran fire marshalling through the move-in period as students arrived. Rather than a one-off clean and handover, we kept the same team on site consistently for over two months, working alongside the Luna management team, welcoming students as they arrived and helping them settle in.

The result

Students moved into a building that was clean, safe and ready from the first day, with the same familiar AOG team on site throughout rather than a rotating crew. Bridgeside Luna had one consistent point of contact for cleaning and fire safety cover through the busiest, highest-risk period in a new scheme's life: the move-in.
