General Foreman

Your remit

You will turn agreed site priorities into organised daily activity, coordinating operatives and subcontractors, monitoring workmanship and raising issues early. This suits someone who understands how a busy construction site runs, communicates clearly and follows through on agreed actions.

What you will lead

• Allocate daily work in line with agreed priorities.
• Coordinate operatives and subcontractors within your assigned area.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and readiness for following trades.
• Help maintain safe working practices and orderly work areas.
• Identify shortages, access issues and other constraints early.
• Keep the site manager informed through clear records and handovers.

Experience you bring

• Experience supervising comparable construction work.
• Confidence directing teams and coordinating different trades.
• Practical understanding of sequencing, quality and site organisation.
• Examples of resolving problems and recovering delayed activities.
• Relevant cards and supervisory training appropriate to the project.
• The right to work in the UK.
