Pipe and cable penetrations
Sealed with tested systems matched to the pipe or cable material and the compartment rating.

Compartmentation, service penetrations and linear gap sealing installed to spec, closing every route fire and smoke can travel through a building's structure.
A service penetration through a fire-rated wall or floor is a hole in your compliance until it is sealed correctly. DefendX closes it with a tested, certified system matched to the rating of the compartment line, not a generic sealant applied by eye.
Every seal is photographed and logged against a floor plan, so the record holds up under a fire risk assessment, an insurer's audit or a Building Safety Act inspection.
Passive fire-stopping restores the fire rating of a wall, floor or riser once a service penetration has broken it. DefendX seals pipes, cables, ducts and linear gaps to the product manufacturer's tested system, matched to the fire rating of the compartment line, with photographic evidence for every seal.
Every line is delivered against written assignment instructions and reported into the AOG weekly review.

From single-riser remediation to full-floor compartmentation, every seal is logged and photographed.
Fire stopping is the sealing of a service penetration, such as a pipe, cable or duct, through a fire-rated wall or floor, using a system matched to the fire rating of that compartment line. It restores the fire resistance that the penetration would otherwise break.
Pipe and cable penetrations, duct and damper penetrations, and linear gaps at compartment walls, floors and service risers can all be sealed using the appropriate tested system for that penetration type.
Every seal is photographed and referenced to a floor plan, building a register that supports the building owner's wider fire-safety evidence requirements.
DefendX typically needs the building type, relevant drawings, and any existing fire risk assessment or compartmentation survey findings to scope and price the works accurately.
Yes. Defective or missing fire stopping identified through a survey or assessment can be remediated with certified systems, with the close-out photographed and referenced back to the original finding.
